Enchanting Early Winter of Fengxian: Discovering Hidden Beauty Time:2024-12-19
As the early winter season arrives, it brings with it a tapestry of captivating sights. Nanqiao Guhua Park is adorned with fiery red maples and golden ginkgo trees, painting a picturesque early winter scene.
In this season, Guhua Park is a kaleidoscope of colors. Stepping into the park, one is greeted by two vivid red maples to the west of the three pavilions and the winding bridge, complementing the traditional black tiles and soaring eaves, a sight that is truly breathtaking. On the lake, the autumn wind stands tall with withered lotus stalks; though they have shed their summer splendor, they exude a unique, desolate beauty. Across the lake, a multicolored wall composed of pines, camphor trees, weeping willows, ginkgo trees, red maples, maples, and Hibiscus mutabilis acts as a natural tapestry, harmoniously blending the season's vibrancy with the park's elegance.
Strolling into Wanqing Garden within Guhua Park, the scenery is at its most vibrant. The north side of Wanqing Garden is a vast expanse of ginkgo trees, their branches laden with golden leaves, forming a "golden avenue" that seems to span the ages, drawing a crowd of visitors eager to capture the moment. Adjacent to the ginkgo avenue is a picturesque walkway on the easternmost edge of the park, flanked by weeping willows on one side and vibrant red maples on the other. The willow leaves are just starting to turn a subtle shade of yellow, while the maples have already put on their striking red attire.
As early winter graces Fengxian, leaves descend in a resplendent display, blanketing the earth in a tapestry of radiance. How could anyone not cherish such a poetic and picturesque sight?
