At 6:30 PM on June 25, the west extension of Jiefang Road (from Huhang Highway to Puwei Road) was opened. As a key infrastructure project in Fengxian District's "14th Five-Year Plan", this 2.14-kilometer road has a 30-meter-wide red line and a design speed of 40km/h. It is a secondary urban arterial road with four fast and two slow lanes. The project covers road, bridge, drainage, traffic safety, greening, and lighting works.

Since its launch, the project has been carried out to high standards and quality, and has been completed and opened to traffic as scheduled. The west extension of Jiefang Road now links Nanqiao and Zhangxing towns conveniently. It has improved the road network in central and western Fengxian and eased local traffic pressure. This has given new energy to the region's balanced development. Locals can now get to work, go shopping or enjoy leisure much faster. They feel a growing sense of gain and happiness.
