Yanzi Memorial Hall stands as a cultural landmark in Fengxian New City, offering permanent and temporary exhibitions, multifunctional spaces, classrooms, and traditional Chinese culture experience rooms. Visitors can enjoy quiet reading in the conventional and refined Ziyou Study, or unwind with tea in the serene Chinese tea art space, Nali Teahouse.

2.  ​Nine Trees Future Art Center

Nine Trees Future Art Center, China's first Grade-A ecological theater, serves as a hub for high-quality cultural events and major festivals. It features three indoor venues, including a 1,200-seat amphitheater, a 500-seat experimental theater, and a 300-seat studio theater, along with two outdoor performance spaces, the 2,000-seat Forest Theatre and the picturesque Waterfront Stage.

​3. Jinhai Lake

Location: Southeast of the intersection of Jinhai Highway and Hangnan Highway

Jinhai Lake, also known as the Fish of Shanghai, was designed by Larry Ziebarth, the planner of The Palm Island in Dubai, the world's largest artificial archipelago created for leisure and tourism. Shaped like a goldfish and formed through land excavation, it has become a defining landmark of Fengxian New City and a popular suburban escape for Shanghai residents. The surrounding area is home to the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai Fengxian and the Fengxian Museum.

4. Fengxian Museum

Fengxian Museum houses two permanent exhibition halls that present the district's rich history and cultural heritage, along with two temporary halls that host high-quality themed exhibitions from both China and abroad.

The current exhibition,

The Exhibition of Aesthetic Life in the Tang Dynasty,

runs through October 18, 2025, and presents 323 artifacts from eight cultural and museum institutions. Among the highlights is a gilded silver casket adorned with the Four Heavenly Kings, guardians of the four quarters of the world in Buddhism, on loan from the Famen Temple Museum in Baoji, Shaanxi province.
