2026 Shanghai International Flower Show: Fengxian Satellite Venue Enters Full Bloom Time:2026-05-02

On the first day of the May Day holiday, the weather cooperated beautifully, with bright spring sunshine. The Fengxian satellite venue of the 2026 Shanghai International Flower Show, set within Paopao Park, has hit its prime viewing season, the grounds awash in blossoms and packed with visitors. By 9:30 a.m., the park was already bustling. Many flower varieties bloomed exuberantly under the warm sun as visitors wandered among the themed display areas, some pausing to admire the scenery, others snapping photos, all savoring this "spring carnival" right on their doorstep.

To give residents and visitors a richer experience over the long holiday, the venue has lined up a series of themed activities for the May Day period. From May 1 to 5, daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a vibrant gardening market will run on the "Blooming Reunion" lawn in Paopao Park. This year's Flower Show brings together the creative student teams from the Collegiate Garden Festival and leading horticultural companies, offering hands-on workshops, inventive goods, campus IP merchandise, and an array of fine gardening products. The venue is also debuting a limited-edition Flower Show postcard for the first time, letting visitors soak up youthful, imaginative ideas amid the fragrance of flowers and carry a one-of-a-kind taste of spring inspiration home.

Beyond the market, residents can join a special scavenger-hunt activity. Visitors can pick up a free dedicated treasure map at the "Blooming Reunion" lawn service desk and follow the clues to check-in points scattered across the venue's display areas. Completing the hunt earns a free stamp, redeemable for a limited-edition Bulu cultural creative gift. Daily gifts are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, adding an immersive sense of natural adventure to the flower-viewing trip.
