Ready for Fun: See You at Binhai Jinsha Scenic Area and Fisherman's Wharf Time:2026-07-15
Affected by a recent typhoon, the Binhai Jinsha Scenic Area in the Fengxian Bay Tourism Area experienced wind and rain damage, with some facilities and greenery suffering varying degrees of harm. Following the typhoon's passage, the scenic area immediately activated its recovery plan, working against time to restore Fengxian's most beautiful coastline.
Maintenance teams entered the site promptly to inspect and repair typhoon-induced structural damage. From fixing damaged building ceilings and panels to repairing exterior facades, inspecting rooftop platforms, and reinforcing waterproofing layers, every task proceeded meticulously. In parallel, the scenic area completed a comprehensive inspection of outdoor electrical distribution boxes and circuits, and systematically repaired public toilet compartments and internal facilities, ensuring all are safe and usable upon reopening.
The tension membrane structures at the main entrance and parking lot entrance showed sagging and loosening due to strong winds. Construction teams swiftly erected scaffolding, dismantled and replaced damaged membrane materials, and reinforced steel structure brackets through welding, revitalizing the scenic area's facade.
Regarding landscaping, some trees were found to be uprooted or tilted. The landscaping team acted quickly to right fallen trees, securing them with tripods, trimming damaged branches, and conducting vegetation maintenance to ensure the area's greenery stands tall again.
As a core area, the restoration of the beach and water zones was a priority. The scenic area concentrated efforts on comprehensively clearing silt from the entire beach, removing debris, branches, and other items washed ashore by the typhoon, and transporting them away in bags. The waterline was cleaned section by section, staff members entered the water to place and organize swimming area buoys, and accumulated sand on the wooden boardwalk was also thoroughly cleared.
Currently, all repair work at the scenic area is largely complete. Binhai Jinsha is ready to welcome citizens and tourists alike back with a clean and safe environment to enjoy the blue sea and sky.
