As the window to the outward-looking economic development of Fengxian District, the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone has strengthened its functions and improved its services while continuously expanding its influence and reach. Since April this year, the Shanghai Municipal Industrial Comprehensive Development Zone and Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone have successfully hosted two "Enterprises Enter Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone" events.

  On the afternoon of May 23, the third "Fengxian District Enterprises Enter the Comprehensive Bonded Zone" event was successfully held. Representatives from the Fengxian District Economic Commission, Shanghai Municipal Industrial Comprehensive Development Zone, Shanghai Cross-border E-commerce Industry Association, Fengxian Customs, Fengxian International Chamber of Commerce, and 46 Fengxian district enterprise representatives attended.

  At the meeting, the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone highlighted its development history, industrial orientation, and functional positioning. It welcomed the attending enterprises to cooperate based on their business development needs, supporting the high-quality development of the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

  Fengxian Customs provided a detailed interpretation on-site of customs policies in tax benefits, trade freedom, and customs clearance convenience.

  Representatives from the Fengxian International Chamber of Commerce introduced the chamber's activities and the development status of its member enterprises, expressing their commitment to actively building links for cooperation between enterprises and the comprehensive bonded zone. This effort aims to promote Fengxian's high-level openness and enhance trade development capabilities.

  Representatives from two bonded zone service companies within the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Bingze Supply Chain Management and Zhesheng Logistics, introduced their company development and services offered in customs declaration, logistics, and warehousing.

  In the Q&A session, enterprises inquired about how to apply comprehensive bonded zone policies in actual business activities. Relevant officials from the Shanghai Municipal Industrial Comprehensive Development Zone provided detailed answers and introduced the latest policy released—"Opinions on Promoting High-Level Opening and High-Quality Development of Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone."

  As the only national-level park in Fengxian District, the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone closely aligns with Fengxian's industrial positioning and regional development characteristics. It focuses on creating "one platform and three centers," concentrating on expanding international openness. It continues to enhance services, expand functions, optimize the environment, and strengthen management. The import and export value grew from RMB 5.833 billion in 2020 to RMB 21.8 billion in 2023, an increase of 274%.

  In 2024, with the new policies of "Opinions on Promoting High-Level Opening and High-Quality Development of Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone" as an opportunity, the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone will actively implement the new spirits, new requirements, and new measures from the central government, the municipal party committee, and the Fengxian District committee on deepening reform and opening up. It aims to better serve and integrate into the new development pattern, leverage policy advantages, promote industrial clustering, and push for functional breakthroughs, thereby driving high-quality development in the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone through high-level openness.
