As the 2024 Shanghai Book Fair and the "Book Fragrant China" nationwide reading event kick off as scheduled, the Fengxian sub-venue of the Shanghai Book Fair specially invited local children's literature writer Huang Wenjun to bring a happy and interesting book sharing session to young readers.

  During the event, Huang Wenjun not only shared with readers his journey of writing children's literature but also recommended several particularly meaningful short stories to the young readers. The young readers below were also attracted by the stories and listened with great interest. Children's literature critic and editor Liang Yan also provided an artistic interpretation of Huang Wenjun and his literary world on-site, hoping that the young readers present could enter the beautiful world of words through literary works and gain the eternal power of growth.

  On-site, there were also young reader representatives who came on stage to share their experiences and gains in the reading process, and recommended Huang Wenjun's works to other readers present. Young reader Tan Oudi likes "The Clockmaker of Life" the most: "I felt that the clockmakers of life are not afraid of storms. They will discover and feel the life in nature through their own experiences."

  Young reader Hou Hongdou is a fairy tale lover. Recently, her home has been filled with many fairy tale books. Hearing that Mr. Huang's books are very good, she came after reading them: "I want to ask Mr. Huang how he came up with the names of these occupations. There is a story called 'The Cloud Hunter', which mentions somersault cloud, following the crowd, and ancient sayings, all of which are very interesting."

  The parents were also very satisfied with the event that day. One parent mentioned that she signed up on the public account of the Fengxian Library and was the last one, so she felt very lucky: "The main reason is that the child is starting elementary school now, and I want to cultivate her habits in reading and writing, so I wanted to bring her over to see how writers create, which may inspire her future writing and reading."

  On-site, Huang Wenjun was simultaneously awarded the "City Book Selector" and "Reading Ambassador" certificates, and the "Huang Wenjun Children's Literature Copyright Strategic Cooperation Agreement" was signed.
