On June 27, the China National Intellectual Property Administration issued Announcement No. 632 recognizing "Zhuanghang Honey Pear" as a national geographical indication product. After "Fengxian Yellow Peach", this is the second such national recognition for Fengxian. It shows the district has reached a new level in building brands for its special agricultural products and protecting geographical indications.

"Zhuanghang Honey Pear" was first planted on a large scale in 1998. It obtained a safety and quality certificate in Shanghai in 2003. In July 2015, it was registered as a national agricultural product geographical indication (AGI01676). After over 20 years of careful growing, Zhuanghang Honey Pear" made it onto the national list of protected geographical indication products in 2025. It is now the second national geographical indication product in Fengxian after the yellow peach. This shows how it has gone from improving technology to setting new standards. It has also gone through three important stages: obtaining a quality certificate, protecting its intellectual property right, and being awarded geographical indication status. This is another big success for the development of Fengxian's special agricultural product brands.
