After elaborate planning, the emergency department kicked off at 8 a.m. on August 16. It is now convenient lifeline for the community.

Since the Fengxian Branch came online on June 28, its medical team has earned solid community trust through top-notch care and a dedicated attitude. The numbers speak for themselves: by August 15, the branch had seen over 3,000 patients daily and had hosted more than 2,600 inpatients. Given the community's pressing need for emergency care, the hospital jumped into action. What was supposed to be an October launch for the emergency department happened on August 16 instead.

The emergency department at the Fengxian Branch is designed smartly and works perfectly. It includes key areas like emergency rescue, adult and pediatric emergency care, observation rooms, and infusion zones. It is on the first and second floors of Building 1 (the main building), right next to Gate 2 (6688 Oriental Beauty Valley, the ambulance entrance). The first-floor rescue area is a green channel for stroke, chest pain, and trauma cases. It is the front line for saving lives and buys precious time for critical patients.

From 8 a.m. on August 16, when the first orthopedic patient arrived, to 8 a.m. on August 17, the emergency department saw 227 patients in total - 144 adults and 83 children. 14 patients came in via ambulance, and four were admitted. On the first day, everything ran smoothly. Every patient got the care they needed and everyone's medical needs were taken care of. To address the minor issues spotted during operations, the concerned departments are working with the business units to roll out optimization plans, to keep improving service quality.

Also on that day, the health management center at the Fengxian Branch launched its physical examination services, completing 99 health checkups on the very first day. Director Zhang Ping led a team of 10 physicians, 10 nurses, 6 medical technicians, and 1 administrative clerk, to pull off the checkups smoothly and professionally, providing the public with professional health assessments.

Looking ahead, Xinhua Hospital Fengxian Branch will keep refining its medical services. With top-notch, efficient care, it will keep the community healthy and safe.
