On-site Meeting on Preparation of MXGP China Shanghai Held Time:2025-09-04
As the Motocross World Championship (MXGP) of China Shanghai 2025 approaches, on the afternoon of September 3, Wang Yiqun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fengxian District Committee and Head of Fengxian District, visited the Bay Outdoor Sports Field to conduct an on-site inspection of the progress of the preparatory work and convened a field meeting.
MXGP China Shanghai is scheduled to take place from September 12 to 14 at the newly completed Bay Circuit in Fengxian. During the inspection, Wang inquired about the organization of the event, safety assurance, and service optimization. He also inspected the layout of the parking lot and the spectator area. He required all relevant entities to strictly fulfill their responsibilities, implement various measures meticulously, and strengthen the inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure zero safety hazards both inside and outside the venue, and to truly make the event an important window to showcase the beauty and openness of Fengxian.
At the meeting, Wang emphasized that all member entities should take the initiative to cooperate closely and adhere to international first-class standards in organizing the event, which will create conditions for the Bay to become an international outdoor sports and leisure town. It is essential to ensure the safety of the event by re-inspecting temporary structures and refining emergency plans. At the same time, it is necessary to continuously improve guiding and warning signs, strengthen food safety assurance, and enhance the spectator experience to make the event safe, exciting, and successful. Efforts should also be made to maximize the spillover effect of the event by linking it with tourism, culture, commerce, exhibitions, and agriculture. The ticket stub economy should be used to stimulate consumption potential, turning the event's "traffic" into an "increment" for development.
