From October 1 to 4, the National Youth U-Series Indoor Hockey Championship, hosted by the Handball, Field Hockey, Baseball and Softball Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Hockey Association, took place successfully in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. As a top-tier field hockey event in China, this event attracted a total of 37 teams and nearly 320 athletes from all over the country.

The Fengxian field hockey team delivered an outstanding performance in this event. The U10 boys' squad achieved a historic feat by clinching the national championship with an unbeaten record, setting a new benchmark for the squad and marking a significant milestone for the district in this sport. Two athletes from Fengxian, teaming up with Wenxi Primary School in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, claimed third place in the U12 boys' category. The U12 girls' squad, despite finishing fourth by just one goal, showcased remarkable tenacity and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
