Athletes from Fengxian Secure Another Gold for Shanghai Time:2025-11-12

The 15th National Games opened in Guangzhou on the night of November 9.

In the equestrian dressage team final of the 15th National Games on November 10, the Shanghai team, comprising Wu Yue, Xu Mofei, Gu Zhanzhao, and Rao Jiayi, claimed the gold with a total score of 202.470. This score was calculated by summing the best three individual performances.

Among them, Gu is from Fengxian.

The 15th National Games feature 34 sports and 419 events in the competition category, 19 sports and 145 events in the mass category, along with 4 sports and 21 events in the performance category. 16 athletes from Fengxian have advanced to the finals, competing in seven sports: shooting, archery, equestrian, rock climbing, handball, athletics, and cycling.

Notably, in the women's 10m air pistol individual final held on October 16, Jiang Ranxin showcased remarkable composure and exceptional skill, claiming the bronze medal. Zhang Qi finished in sixth place.

On October 17, in the women's 10m air pistol team final, the Shanghai team, featuring Fengxian athletes Jiang Ranxin and Zhang Qi, together with Shen Yiyao, delivered a stellar performance. Through intense competition, they triumphed over Hebei with a decisive 16:8 score, clinching Shanghai's first gold medal in shooting at the 15th National Games.

The following day, in the 10m air pistol mixed team bronze medal match, Jiang Ranxin and Wu Jiayu from Shanghai overcame Hubei's Ruan Mengying and Ji Chengwu, 16:12, to claim the bronze.
