On the afternoon of December 29, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Shanghai Oil Pastel Exhibition took place at the Nine Trees (Shanghai) Future Art Center.

This exhibition was hosted by the Shanghai Artists Association, the Fengxian Culture and Tourism Bureau, and the Fengxian Federation of Literary and Art Circles. With the theme "Small Medium, Grand Vision", it is rooted in Shanghai's rich cultural heritage. It sparked great interest among art lovers across the Yangtze River Delta. The entries are both numerous and of high quality, showing the surging creativity in oil pastel art. After careful screening, 152 pieces, including award winners, selected works, and special invites, made it to the final display. They cover a wide range of topics and styles, highlighting Shanghai's unique charm and modern vibe.

In recent years, Fengxian has been dedicated to creating a platform for art lovers to showcase their talents and exchange ideas.
