Recently, the opening ceremony of the 7th Short Video Competition of Shanghai Television Artists Association & 5th College Student Short Video Contest took place in Qingxi Old Street, Qingcun Town, Fengxian District. As the host, Qingcun launched the 1st Qingxi Life Creator Conference & Yangtze River Delta Creator Tour simultaneously.

The competition features several thematic divisions, including a special rural revitalization division calling for entries from Shanghai's counterpart cooperation regions to facilitate experience sharing.

With the theme "Empowering Creation, Spreading Qingxi", the conference integrates competition, field trip, training and traffic support, adopting an "online + offline + professional empowerment" model to help creators experience Qingcun's culture and tourism. The concurrent Yangtze River Delta Tour invites creators to visit featured spots, with excellent entries directly qualifying for the municipal final.

From February to July 2026, Qingcun will host a series of cultural and tourism activities, such as Spring Festival events, Peach Blossom Festival, intangible cultural heritage shows, rural life festivals and food promotions. It will also hold creation forums and support shooting in counterpart areas to further expand its influence.

Divided into the public and university categories, the competition accepts entries from February to May 2026. After preliminary and final evaluations, winners will be announced in July, with excellent entries showcased on key platforms like SETV, Knews, Bilibili and iQiyi.
