Participants

Mass Category

Ages 18-55, open to residents from the Chinese mainland residents, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and abroad. Valid documents required: ID card (Chinese mainland), travel permit (Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan) or passport (foreigners).

University Category

1. Participants must be registered in the National Higher Education Student Information System of the Ministry of Education, be Chinese citizens (including Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan), and study as undergraduates, junior college students or postgraduates in Shanghai (excluding adult higher education).

2. Registration is by university team only. Each team can have 1 leader, 1 coach and up to 16 athletes (max 10 male, 6 female). Teams with at least 5 male and 3 female athletes will qualify for team rankings.

3. University Category participants may not register for the Mass Category.

Registration

The Mass Category has a maximum capacity of 1,500 participants, and a lottery will be held if over-subscribed.

3. Lottery result announcement: March 25–26, 2026
