On April 13 Beijing time, the Puebla 2026 Hyundai Archery World Cup drew to a successful close. Zhu Jingyi, an elite archer developed in our district and channeled to the Shooting and Archery Sports Center of Shanghai Competitive Sports Training Administrative Center, competed as a key member of China's national archery team. Drawing on superb technical skill, formidable mental composure, and a tenacious competitive drive, she pressed forward at every turn and posted one strong result after another, sweeping the gold medals in all three of her events—women's individual recurve, women's team recurve, and mixed team recurve—and writing a brilliant chapter for China's archers on the world stage.

Zhu turned in standout performances throughout the competition. In the women's individual event, she fought her way through the bracket and defeated her opponent decisively in the final to claim her first World Cup individual title. In the women's team event, she and her teammates worked in close coordination to overcome strong foreign rivals and take the team crown. In the mixed team event, she again joined forces with her partner and battled hard to secure a third gold. Three times she stood atop the podium, and three times she watched the national flag rise—proof, through results, of the excellence of China's archers.

Shaped by careful cultivation and successive rounds of refinement across district, municipal, and national programs, Zhu has held fast to her founding commitment to bring honor to her country, embracing a spirit of diligent study and self-transcendence. She grew into a core member of the national team and competed for China on the world's biggest stages, returning crowned with honors. Her triple title is the rich fruit of her own relentless effort, and still more a striking testament to the results our district has achieved in cultivating competitive sports talent, fully demonstrating the solid foundation and outstanding accomplishments of athletic development here.

Standing at a new starting point, we firmly believe that Zhu Jingyi will stay true to her original aspiration and forge ahead, achieving still greater results and new distinction in future international competitions, and winning still more glory for the nation, for Shanghai, and for Fengxian!
